Choco-Mint Blossoms


It’s know not be Christmas Time without Hershey’s Candy Cane Kisses:) I mean these candy cane chocolates are amazing:)


Preheat the oven at 350F

1/2 cup of unsalted butter, soften, and 1/2 cup of shortening mix together on medium speed until smooth


Add 3/4 cup of unsweetened Dutch-process cocoa powder, 2 baking powder, and 1 cup of granulated sugar. Beat until combined, scraping bowl occasionally. Add in the 1 egg, 2 tablespoons milk and 1 teaspoon peppermint extract, until combined.


Add the 1 1/2 cup of All Purpose Flour into the bowl and combined until the flour is well mix in. Wrap the dough and chill for 1 hour or until it easy to handle.


Shape the dough into 1- inch balls. Place balls 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are firm.
